Stop drinking all that beer !

Maybe theres more weight to the front of your bike.
Either way 'wheelies' are dangerous events and not recommended..

You need 2 be wheelie good to attempt that stunt man......
I say 'Stick 2 the beer' and leave the wheelies to the pro's........
Not that I am btw.......
I would not gamble my machine on a crazy stunt like that.......xcept if I were getting paid mega bucks to do it.......compronde!

Wow...Can't believe you US folk are so against wheelies...Here in the UK, that's the first thing people usually want to do when they get on two wheels.

Yeah it can be dangerous and shouldn't be done on the road (private area use only), but if you use clutch control doing a wheelie it's a lot easier and safer IMO.

Takes a lot of practice though and you need to gain confidence, but if you use clutch control and get it wrong, you're more likely to just have the front wheel not go up that high rather than flip your bike if you do a power wheelie.

What do you guys call stoppies? (when you accelerate, brake hard lifting the back wheel up...opposite of a wheelie).

Around here we call them "endos", "nose wheelies" and "stoppies" too. :D

I've also seen riders say "Holy @#!, ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" usually ending with a lot of broken bike parts and a bruised ego.

Eh I find my r6 gets up on its own without trying to get onto it....plenty of power

The yzf600 isn't nearly the same bike as the yzfr6, less torque on this bike, explaining why you seem to have a hard time power wheeling. The yzf600 is a more user friendly bike.

And I think the fact that people here look down on wheelies is amazing!
Too many newbies learn the hard way. (not calling anybody a newbie)
This is a good forum, not like other stupid forums where everybody insults eachother or tries to 1up by putting another down.

My 2nd bike was a Thundercat too. I usually went 20-30 mph held in the clutch, revd it to about 6-7 rpms and the let the clutch go and bam you get a wheelie. Hold on tight cause it kicks. You'll get used to it though. Make sure to wear all you're gear too.

Oh. Yeah! I forgot the legal disclamer.
