OKay first off, your '05 doesn't have "jets" that's a carb thing and your bike has fuel injection.

Next, the midpipe, depends on who you buy it from. Although most kits will come with everything you need to mate up to your factory header pipe. But do yourself a favor and ask whomever you're buying you pipe from this question.

Back to the "jetting", which in your case would be altering the fuel map. Anytime you deviate from the stock system it is a good idea to match your air and fuel to the parts you are running. Plus bikes come a little lean from the factory to meet EPA standards, so even adding some fuel to a stock bike wouldn't hurt. I know you can adjust the fuel config a bit through the system menu on the dash. However, i don't know how far from stock you can alter it.

Personally I would recommend getting a Power Commander and be done with it. With a PCIII you can download fuel maps for you particular set-up, or if you have a decent understanding of fuel consumption, you can open a custom map and alter you fuel to fit your personal needs, riding style, and desires.
