so which power commander would be the best bang for your buck?
I was looking at K&N's and Dynojet. Can anyone tell me their experiences with a power commander? Is it worth it or a hassle? My 04 is kewl but Im always looking to make it better.

i have an 03 (same as yours) and i installed a micron pipe and followed it with a power commander maybe two days later. the pipe made a nice difference but the true beuty of the pipe wasn't unleashed until the power commander was installed it made a HUGE difference and was well worth the money the bike has been remapped for 04 so if you have stock exhaust the map is more than likely good enough just as is but if you start in the aftermarket get one immediately every part i get or add to the engine i just go online and download the map for it they have maps for everything from race gas to cams to exhuast to air filter and tons of combinations and manufacturers...good luck hope i helped

First thing that I noticed after tossing on a power commander was increased throttle response. Seemed to have quicker acceleration (maybe I was getting on it harder, not sure) MPG seemed to stay roughly the same, but I never really pay attention to that.

I should get a PCIII sonner of later.. But just wonder where else can it be mounted besides the trunk?? thought about seeing if it would fit rear side panels.

Hey guys, I found a really great deal for my R6. Was on ebay searching and found an ebay store that sells them super cheap. $259 for a power commander for my 2004 R6! I love it. The store is from a motorcycle shop called Clifford Cycles. Go to cliffordcycles.com and click on their ebay store, then click on power commanders and type R6 in the search.

Good luck!

They are both abouth the same K&N and PowerCommander.
I would recommend PC's they are tried and true.

as for jam007... NO!!!
NO PC's for the '02. It's an attachment for fuel injection, which yours like mine dont' have. -'02=carbs....'03+= F.I.
...wow...
