Last year I was out riding with my of my mates, at the time I was on an NC35 and him on a Triumph TT600. We were having a little drag race when a pigeon flew out from the hedges and straight into the front of his bike. He was doing 156mph at the time! :shock:
Suffice to say the pigeon went straight through the front his bike spraying both him and myself with it's inards, leaving only it's wings and head in tact, wedged behind the clocks.
I had one hit my head at around 70 (luckily I looked down in time so it bounced off) and another mate had a woodpecker hit his arm at around the same speed.

Just wondering if you guys have had any run in with natures dimmer animals??

Had a deer run out in front of me a few weeks ago, forunately it wasnt too close and i braked enough. Had a pigeon hit the left door mirror of my truck recently.... made a huge bang and thought the mirror was gonna swing round and take out the door glass :shock:
Have seen a few damaged bikes from bird strikes and ur rite... it aint pretty :(

A buddy of mine has a VW Jetta, we were comming back from the shore one day. Got out to do something and when we came back to the car I noticed a little bird had gotten its head wedged into the grill at probaly 80 mph, its little lifeless body was hanging off of the front of the car. It was pretty fricken funny.
