Easiest way to change a crank case cover???

Never had to before and I dont want to take the long way around :!:

Gotta drain the oil, and if you go that far get an oil filter too and service the bike. Remove the filter, then remove all those allen key bolts around it, and it should come right off. Dont forget with the new crank case cover to put a little oil around the edge where the gasket is gonna go, make sure it holds and makes a good seal

Which side of the crankcase are you replacing. Left or Right? Either way you shouldn't lose too much oil becasue if the bike hasn't been running for a few hours it'll all drain back into the sump. If it's the left side, where the alternator is just be careful of the wires when you bolt everything back together.
If it's the right side, keep track of the orientaion of the clutch armwhen you seperate the cover otherwise you'll spend an hour trying to figure out how many teeth back you need to set it so it will line up right when you push it together.
