Hello everyone -
What size "Canyon Dancer II" should be used on a 2003 Yamaha R6 with stock bars?
I assume 32" is the correct size, but I'm wondering if I could use the next larger size so I could also use them on my older Jap bikes with wider handle bars.
Could there be a problem if they were "too wide?"
Any thoughts or experience with this?
Thanks for your time !

The "width" is basically based on how much/length of the straps that they have in between the two bar-end holders.
If you go with the "longer" ones, you would have extra slack and it might be a little harder to use tie-downs/ratcheting straps to get the front end tightened down.
You can always give Canyon Dancer a call directly or email them to confirm....

nummy: FYI i just used the Canyon Dancer to transport my bike for the first time to sell and then transported my new 12' R6 back 4 hr round trip, this is a great device. Wouldn't be as concerned about the width but copatdi had a good idea, shoot them an email those guys are normally pretty good about getting back to you, but the only adjustment you'll make is with the ratchet straps you use.

Not a great pic of the Canyon Dancer Num. But you can see how it really pulls the ratchet straps away from the fairings and anything that'd be expensive to fix:whax:

I have two. The Canyon Dancer 2 has the plastic cups. Work great.
Mine are 28". Used them on my CBR1000RR, my R6, and my buddy's R1.
Bootman. Beautiful bike! I love that scheme so much, that I just put it on my FZ1. (Retro kit)

That's bad @$$ Torch. Very nice. I'm on motorcycleusa forum too. The guys over there are great. They also just re-did their site.
