Greetings everyone, my name is John. I currently own a 2002 R6 (Red)which I purchased with 550 miles on it in 2002 for $5K. I have since put about 5K on it. It was dropped prior to me getting it, but repaired. Then I crashed it turning onto a street from a parking lot, crossing over one of those sealant strips and my rear tire under power decided to follow it; therefore putting me on the pavement. I've had it repaired and two days after it returned from the shop, I dropped it and broke my right clip-on, brake lever and foot peg. Boy am I a cluts lately! Hey, not bad for 3 years I guess. My only mods on it are a smoked windscreen, billet swing arm spool/sliders, billet handlebar sliders, and I'm looking into frame sliders, but I haven't decided which ones yet. I also have a fender eliminator kit, other than that everything is stock.

As for me, I'm a Flight Paramedic with AirEvac Services here in Arizona. Yes, that means I fly on a helicopter! I spent several years back in Oregon playing the ambulance medic and a firefighter until I came to Arizona for the flight job. I'm also working on my BS degree in Criminal Justice and am currently in backgrounds with Mesa Police Department (hense the badboyforlife nick--i.e. movie). It is my ultimate goal to be a police officer, but I'll still hang on to my Paramedic certs too.

I'm 30 years old, married for 7, and enjoy many things most notably my R6, rock climbing, snow skiing, fast cars, 4x4 trucks, and computers. I wear full Joe Rocket Phoenix Textile riding gear and a helmet even though it isn't a requirement here in Arizona. I have picked up way to many people off the street and seen the effects of not wearing any riding gear. Oh and by the way, I know it's just my speedo and it probably is a bit off, but I have seen 167 mph on it!

Well, being a pilot would be cool, but I'm just a medic on the aircraft, I don't actually get to fly it.

Anyway, currently we fly in Eurocopter Astar 350's both the B2 and B3 models. The parent company Petroleum Helicopters Inc (PHI) flies several different aircraft, but for us, it's the Astar. We may eventually go to the EC-135, but that is still in question.

AME? I'm not the best at Acronyms.
