I was thinking about getting an adjustable dogbone. Does anyone have any pro's and cons opinions?

I installed one from Schnitz racing on my wifes 99 R6 to help lower it. It is a nice setup and has infinite adjustment.

Lowering your bike throws the geometry off and it will handle "funky". This is fine when you are only drag racing and riding around town, but if you ever do a track day you will be hurting.

I never liked lowered bikes in the 1st place.

I decided not to get one... I figured I get used to riding it first and let the suspension settle a bit... and after 2k of riding... well, Im not complaining.

Curious. What was your intent with the dogbones?

I was afraid of droping my bike. Im 5' 4" so I can tippy toe on both sides. The dogbone was to help me get comfy on the bike. It turns out I didn't need it. the suspension wore in and Im way more confident now.
