OK, guys and gals, how do I lower the rear end of a 2005 yzf-r6 2 inches, it seems like everyone sells lowering links, but the bike has triangles and attaches in 3 places whereas the linnks only have 2 attaching points.

First off why are you lowering the bike?

If its not a drag bike only you will completely ruin your suspension geometry and make the bike hard to handle on the street for everyday ridding :? I would recomend against this idea unless the bike is for drag use only.

I will be using it for drag and street, I already have a set of forks modified by trac dynamics for the 2" drop up front, but now I have to deal with the back end. thanks for any input you have.

You should just have the dog bone in the rear. Connected in 2 spots. I have a 05 r6 (raven). I made a set of dog bones or links. I only lowered mine an inch so I could touch the ground easier. I didn't notice a differance in handeling. I am thinking of going 2" to see what happens.
