I got my new 05 R6 a month and a half ago, and have been really annoyed with the throttle response....I use to ride a 2003 which was 100 times smoother. Unfortunately it got knicked. I do a bit of city riding and the problem really bugs me, especially in second gear and around slow corners...

Any settings I could look at? Would a power commander help at all? Any other advice?

Thanks for helping me enjoy my new R6 even more...

I know what your talking about. I just ride around it and keep my rpm's around 6,000 rpms minimum.

Its the computer adjusting for higher RPM's to add more power as you accelerate. Get a power commander or do the computer fix if you dont have the money for a power commander, i bet it will fix the problem and give smooth power though all the rpm's

By the way there is allready a topic on this, you should look there is all the information on this allready
