Can someone help me please. I have in the last couple of hours picked up my brand new R6 (what a lovely girl she is) but it has already cut out on me, the dealer has now closed until Tuesday due to the long weekend (what am I to do?)
What it is the engine trouble light came on and flashed fault code 46 so I pulled over and switched the engine off now it doesnt start, there is no code 46 in the handbook what am I to do?
Someone please help me.
Many Thanks in advance[/b]

Just to let you all know that fault code 46 is a power supply problem to the fuel injection system.
Thanks anyway

well i wouldnt touch it, i would push, pull, truck it back to the dealer and walk up to the little fag that sold it to you and kick him square in the balls and demand a new one. id be royally pissed off man, thats all i can say.

After a couple of restless nights thinking about what’s up with my baby and what she was going through (my bike that is) and what I was going to do, I got the Misses to call them and give them grief as her mouth is a lot larger and a lot fouler than mine (her bark really is a lot worse than her bite), within half an hour of her call they were outside my house with their van to take it away, a couple of hours later they called and said it was ready to be picked up.
The problem according to them was a faulty rectifier.

and we all ride happily ever after.

I'm very glad to hear that everything turned out well. What's a rectifier?

Hi, I am led to believe the rectifier is also known as the regulator, I’m not 100% sure what it does but its part of the charging system. Hope this helps.
Cheers
