My 2001 r6 seems abit jumpy when riding, been told to change plugs and clean out the carb. Should i be looking at doing anything else as well?

Are you the original owner? Did the problem just start or has it been doing it from day one? Can you define "jumpy" a bit more? Does it do it at certain speeds, conditions, temperatures, etc? Try to describe the problem in more detail and you're more likely to get a response.
