Hi to everyone! New guy here. Hoping to learn a lot from those more experienced. Any tips/advice welcome.

I figured I might as well throw this in here too:
I'm about to buy my first bike. My sights are set on an r6 . I'm not new to riding. This is far from the first motorcycle I've ever driven but it will be the first one I'll be calling my own :D

I'll be buying used (budget roughly 5k)
Just wondering what I should look out for in a bike. Any "steer clear of me" signs I should be aware of? Any problems that are common to the r6? And how much should I be expecting maintenance to cost. Also, how does this compare to other bikes in the same class
