Just wanted to give a quick update. I recently put a new set of Michelin Pilot Powers on my 2003 R6. Guys, these tires are the real deal when compared to the Dunlops I have been running. They are way better. I seriously thought the R6 was the most "flickable" bike I have ever been on, with these tires, it is even more agile. Now I just wonder how I rode Dunlops so long.....they are like plastic compared to the Michelin's.

Just wanted to give you my take.

I've heard that Pirelli Diablos are good. What is the difference between the two? Any comparisons?

Yeah well Michelins have always been superior to dunlops. But are the Pilot Powers better or worse then the Pilot Sports they replaced?

So far from what I am hearing it seems to be a toss up depending on who you talk to. I never rode the sports, so I can't say. My old roommate has an R1 and has had both and he likes the new powers more, but they wear out quicker I think. They are really gummy though man. I was out last night, riding pretty hard and it was a bit chilly, and they were still grabbing and holding the road really good. Just a great tire. I am sure I and only going to get a couple thousand miles out of them, but I don't care, worth every mile to me.
