So Im in the hospital with a lacerated arm. a shattered clavicle and pretty much a body covered with road rash. I hit a landscaping "island" in a parking lot doing about 35. I was following a buddy out, looked back at our friend who was behind me on his bike, When I looked back forward I seen Mike (the guy I was following) and his bike go airborne and start flipping. Before I could react I was headed for the same. I thought if I leaned back it would soften the blow and only damage my rims. I got my front over but the rear tire sent me flipping through the air. I hit the pavement hard and the bike landed on me. I havent seen the bike since but my buddy who seen us wreck said that my front rim and rear rim is destroyed. The left side is destroyed and my shifter pedal is mangled up. Also, there is a cover on the left side that Im almost positive is the magneto and stator. thats all smashed in......Can anyone confirm that? Ive already been searching for parts to fix my baby and Id like to know before I get out of the hospital.

Yeah. So its day 3 of being home. Honestly I dont think I could have spent another day in that place. Granted University of Michigan is in the top 5 US hospitals it can be annoying. Anyway. Removed the front rim, had the tire inspected by 3 master mechanics and a few students, and it passed. So thats good news since the rubber is Pirelli Angel ST. Im happy about that. I have the rim in my garage and I will go take some pics later and post them on the link from my previous post.

Ok, So Ive slowly started removing parts from my bike to see what Im going to need to restore my baby. So far I know that Im going to need both the front and rear rims....Can anyone help me out with that? Also the left stator cover was destroyed and needs to be replaced. I found some plastics from another YZF600RR but they are blue...no big deal to repaint them though. So far though thats the only major damage...The entire left side plastic and turn signal. Both rims and my shift linkage is heavily damaged. Like I said...Any help locatin these parts would be greatly appreciated. I cant wait to get back out on the road....Its honestly killing me.
