Hey Guys,

Just curious about Icon gear, some guys I've ridden with say they wouldn't touch it. Then I've seen some guys wearing nothing but Icon. How do you think it compares to other gear like Joe Rocket or Shift?

Id like to know this myself. Ill tell you that all of the ICON jackets ive tried on didnt fit to well on me at all. They have the new urban street fighter ricey bling bling thing going. I guess some of there **** is cool. Joe R is very good stuff IMHO

i think riding gear is all about what fits you. i use shoei and joe rocket cuz its fits me noggin and the jacket fits good too. my girlfriend is asian and a icon helmet fits her the best, she has joe rocket jacket and alpine star gloves. whatever fits man. anything is better than nothing.

I Have an Icon Jacket and Helmet

Recently I wrecked at about 65 miles per hour and slid about 200 ft on my left side. The jacket is still wearable with just rash on the sleve and back. My helmet hit the ground hard enough to knock me out and it didnt even crack, it just lost some paint.

I swear by this stuff now Icon saved my life and my skin way better than my previous jackt from old joe rocket. :!:

I would recomend this gear to anyone Ive tested it :wink:

Stick with leather no matter how uncomfortable it is 8)

I have the Icon Burner Jacket in silver and black to match my bike, and I love the jacket, it fits great, looks great, and I sure hope I don't have to test it like the poster above me!!!!!

I got extremely lucky to only walk away with some rash on my thigh :oops:

It was a pretty smooth slide though :P

I wouldnt recomend trying it if at all possible

but the gear I will always own Icon made a believer out of me :wink:
