Brand new R6 owner. Very excited and I WOuld just like to thank everyone who posts answers to our rookie questions. I have been reading the site for about a month and i just got the bike yesterday and a majority of my questions were well answered. Heres one more though.
My rigth side foot peg came broke but the guy i bought it from game me the replacement. But i cant get the thing off. I dont even know what tool to attach it with. No both, no nut, not even a cotter pin.....anyone got an answer. its a 2003 R6

I just replaced mine on my 04, there should be like 4 parts to it. The Footpeg itself all molded 1 piece, a pin that goes though the moutn and the footpeg, a cotter pin to hold it on, and a spring. To assemble take the sping and make sure it looks identical to the other side, and just press it with the foot peg against the bracket that it goes on to. pus the pin though and cotter pin it together...takes all of about 3 min.
