just wondering if anyone has had a problem with the kickstand. as far as turning the bike around. u know... lifting the bike up onto the kick stand and turning the bike around? anyways i was wondering since my other bikes had a really thick kick stand and my new R6 has a skinny kick stand would it be safe to turn the bike around? i know the bike is light as hell but i was thinking over time since its so thin that it could snap. has anyone had a problem like that? or any problemes or anything along those lines regarding the kick stand?

post up... i wanna hear some advice on this. Thanks in advance!

I'm not a big fan of using the kickstand to rotate a bike.

I can say this, the bracket that the kickstand bolts into isn't very strong. Just from normal use over the past 3 years mine is egged out abit to the point where there is play in the kickstand. Not enough that I'm worried it would fall, but enough that you know it's there.

I guess I've been doing it for about a year now and I haven't had any problems....knock on wood.

I don't do it......have a few times and already started to notice a slight tweak in the stand. Just not a great idea.
