On the new bikes, the factory puts on a couple of stickers right below the filler. I don't actually know what they say on them, but I dont like them and want them gone. Anyone have an easy way to remove them without removing the paint? I would think goo gone would work but I wanted to ask you guys first. Thanks
Sorry, gas tank filler that is...

All you have to do is get a blow dryer and heat the stickers up, one or two minutes will do. The heat will soften the glue and the sticker will come off easily thats what i did and it worked. Then you can use goo gone to take the left over glue on the tank. Or just follow these http://sportbikeguy.com/garage/floor/decalrm.html. Carry on.

Moisten the sticker with WD-40 and most of it will peel off.
Then shoot it with some more WD and the glue will come off.

Best way I've found is to take a damp cloth, and an iron, apply iron to damp cloth on top of stickers, will melt the glue w/out harming the bike, works great!

gasoline works really well, without harming the paint or clearcoat

"sticker shock" that's what the can is called... u just spray it on the sticker...let it soak. then just peel it off. its just like goo gone.
