I just ordered a GPR steering damper for my 01 R6! $349.00, Good price? Was also wondering if anyone had any thoughts on carbon inlay frame sliders.

The carbons look sweet. But if your into riding hard and possibly "using" them, the you need to justify the extra expense cause the tarmac is gonna grind'em down carbon fiber or not. :wink: :evil:

What about the dampner? Any info on that? I am looking for a good dampner, but don't want to get to crazy price wise....$349 seems pretty good. Any thoughts?

A strange thing happened with the damper. I was charged $349.00 from the original place I ordered it, then someone from the company called me this morning to tell me I was given the wrong price. He said $349.00 was less than cost and he couldn't give it to me for that. He said $427.00 was the lowest he could go. I told him to put the money back on my credit card because I could get a new one off ebay for $370. He didn't seem to believe me. So I went to ebay and saw that 58 cycle had them for $370.00. I called them to order one, and to my suprise they were actually selling them for $348.00. So I got it for $1.00 cheaper. So if your looking for a good deal on a GPR damper, check 58 cycle on ebay.
