Here's the story...
Went to pick up some flush mounts for the front (with a plan to use an integrated tail light). The dealer said that you need to mod front and back together because most state inspections won't pass only front or only back stock turn signals.
Anybody know if this is true? Or just a good sales pitch?

He is pry right but i couldnt tell ya for sure cause i know here in colorado we have very few motorcycle laws. We are not required to have turn signals on a bike aslong as we use hand signals and we also have no helmit laws

In Wisconsin I was told that any blinker other than stock was illegal.
I have short stalks on the back and flushies on the front and haven't
had a problem yet. :?

In most cases you are very right...hell half the time the cop will still let you go...I ripped a wheelie the other day without knowing there was a cop a little ways behind me. The guy pulls me over and lets me go because he said it looked good. Anyway, back on topic you really shouldn't have any problems with police bothering you about your sidemarkers. Cars have white sidemarkers with blue lights ALL the time and they are considered illegal.
