Hi,
Anybody know how many miles you can get from a 2004 r6 once the fuel light comes on?

Cant open PDF here at work but here is where you can find out

Yamaha Owners Manual (http://yamaha-motor.com/service/manuals/ManualSelector.asp)

Just plug in year, what you want, and model [/url]

Thanks a lot mate! Only had my R6 3 weeks and can't find a reserve figure in the standard manual. Going up to the Isle of Man TT in June and don't want to run out of juice on the motorway!

Cheers :D

reserve light on, you have 1/5th of a tank left. how far depends on how you ride.

if the sensor is on the bottom front of the tank, and you are usally accelarating then it pushes the gas to the back of the tank making it think that there is low fuel....the concept behind it is you got about the next 30-50 miles to find gas, and if you look in the state of maine it can be 25 miles between exits
