Which do you guys like the best. I think the black looks so clean, but would it look funny wearing blue jeans and a black/white leather jacket? I think the blue looks awesome too and would just seem to match everything better. I think the red looks ok too, plus it matches my camaro, but im torn between the black and blue

I went to the dealer today and filled out all the paper work, i told them id come back when I had my down payment from my next pay check. What do you guys think?

I'm partial to the blue. Partly because I have a blue '02 and partly because blue is Team Yamaha's color. Honda runs red, Kawi is green, Zukes are yellow.
The red is different, and you'll be one of the few with a red r6.
The black looks amazing, but if you have blue and white leathers you're gonna look weird.

I like the Raven the best, to me that is one of the best looking bikes I have seen.

After owning 2 black cars, no matter how hard you try, and how clean you try to keep it, it easily gets dirty, and it shows EVERYTHING, so if its mint it looks the best but if it gets scrateched or you dont keep waxing and cleaning it you will definatly know. The blue is way hot, definatly yami's colors. I have a Red 04 R6 and i think that looked the best when i was in the show room plus i got a blue WRX that is close to the yamaha color and i wanted something a little different that stands out. Either way whatever decision you make you will love the bike its just how much work you wanna do to keep it perfect

I'd definitely say go with the blue, I just don't think that black looks all that cool because there's not really a contrast... it's just all black! Plus I think the blue looks awesome.

Tough choice. I have the Raven but I also love the blue one as well. And hehehe I also have a blue Joe Rocket jacket and sometimes wear blue jeans on my Raven.

i like the ravel alot but the yamaha blue is also cool as well. its just a matter if you want to pay for the special edition paint scheme

i'm all about the blue, even tho i seriously thought about getting black when i got mine... the only problem with black is that it's harder to see on the road, and i have enough problems with people not seeing me as it is... the blue stands out much better.

Black, Red or blue its up too you. I prefer the blue not because i have one...... hum well probably. Go with the blue!!

Personally I have a rven so i'm partial to that. I loe it sooo much. Blue also looks sweet. November it's R1 for me after finding out about the CA model stuff. I don't like the r1 in black cuz of the half plastic gas tank. Yeah black gets drt quisk and you need to wash it alot. But it looks better, and to be honest if you have a blue are you gonna let it get dirty anyway. So washing ain't no excuse to dislike the ravens. Yeah scratches show more, but that means don't drop the bike. So it's RAVEN is lord of R6s. :twisted:

Agreeing with fierohink, the red is not very common if you want to be different, but there isn't a color in the world as BEAUtiful as Yamaha blue. My vote is blue.

I went in to buy a blue one and came out with a black bike.
I do get a lot of compliments on the colour but it is hard to keep clean

I too own a Raven, so I am also partial to the black. I am always getting compliments since there aren't that many Raven owners in my area.

In an ideal world I would get black. But a black bike zipping by is much harder to perceive than blue. I have learnt with time that being seen is one of the most important things... I would love a raven, but will have to live with blue; as I know this could save my life....

When I get mine, it's going to be blue for sure. Actually, that's what I thought until just this moment. Now that I think about it, the black does look pretty nice, so it might be a harder decision than I thought. I'm pretty sure I'd go with the blue though.

in my opinion there is nothing sweeter than yamaha blue. but it really doesn't matter what color you get because no matter what you will have the best looking bike on the road.

I got my red one because it was the last available (I got an 04' for a special price). I was really bummed out because of the color, because I wanted the blue one.

Now I can tell you that I lloooveeee the red. It has the most sportive look from them all.

Black, I have I blue '02 that I am going to paint black. I will post it I ever actually get around to doing it.

[i]I think the black R6 is pretty sweet, however I do agree that the blue is yamahas signiture color. But how stealthy is the black one going down the road at night. I think that gives it an edge the other colors dont have.

I know that team yamaha is blue....but it is such a plain normal blue... Personally i love the new black R6.... i know it wotn match what u have, but when u buy a new bike...its time to get a new jacket and helmet if they dont match.... blue jeans will look okay on it... and black is so stealth
