i was wondering, anybody knows about fitting a 2004 gsx 600 tail on the 04 r6? if anybody knows, please let me know!!!

haha yea exactly why? .... how to exactly? not really sure, but if there is a will there is a way. But if you have it allready you can measure it up to that of the R6, get a hot cutting knife or in a pinch a soldering iron with a small tip on it, and basically start measuring, and cutting so its simular. i dont remember what the stuff is called but there is a liquid plastic that they use on the end of baseball bats that molds easily and dries quick that you can buy its like 65 bucks a pound,so thats plenty you can mold any gaps that are left and paint it. the plasic i believe comes in black only but i will find out for sure what its called and where to get it and post it later. Could also use kitty hair or even reisen and fiberglass

but yea if you feel comfortable with cutting and molding and doing a lot of plastic work with it, then go for it, but if not then i would just buy a new tail for it. just measure everything and i mean everything first before you do any of the cutting.

WHY??? because the tail from the 2004 gsx looks great. the tail on my 04 r6 is the only thing i don´t like on.

I would just get a GSXR 600 then.......have both.....twice the fun! :twisted:
