hello everyone...

i'm 21 years old and only experience riding bikes is from India. I was in India for 2 months and thats where i learned to ride. I rode kawasaki boxer (120cc), Honda Ambition (135cc) and then for the rest of my stay there I rode Royal Enfield Bullit (350cc). I got back on monday and i'm going to take my written test tomorrow then sign up for learning course. So I was wondering if R6 is okay for me or should I go with something else?

thanx

i guess it depends how comfortable you feel with bikes, if the first time you were on a bike was for 2 months in india, you got a lot to think about. any 600 has a lot of power and snap to it. easy to go fast, and definatly easy to wreck if you are not carefull and not experenced. if you feel comfortable on bikes, i say go for it, just take your time to get used to it. but if you wanna save 6 grand and learn to ride buy a 250 and start with that. they dont have a lot of power and down go overly fast but good beginners bike. dont get me wrong they will do 100+ just takes a little longer to get there. i guess if you can handle a 250 really easily go for it man, i can tell you, you will not be disappointed in an R6
