Brand new Dunlop rear tire on my R6 and a screw got caught in it. It's got 400 miles on it. Should I just take the screw out and patch it or just buy a new tire? I don't wheelie or go much past 100 yet since I just started riding. I dunno if I should just patch it or not.

New tire, patching it would probably be fine but I wouldn't take any chances...

I recently got a nail clean entrance and was able to get home with NO air leak and called around to get mine patched but NO shop is willing to patch/repair a tire in the entire state I'm in. Too much of a risk patching a tire because your tire is only 1 of 2 holding your life together, secondly, the tire is softer than a car's and really, do you want to trust your life with a $2.00 patch and on your grave it say "died because he was cheap"? I'm asking you this because I thought long and hard about this same thought... to patch or not to patch... I mean I have 2k on brand new Pirelli's and I have to buy a new one myself... tear!
