As im sure all of us remember the tragic day of 9/11/01 when the coward bin laden and the memebers of alqeda attacked america. We lost many friends, family, and emergency responders. As being an emergency responder myself it kinda hits home a lot to me, and every time I think about it, it makes me angry and I also think how I can give back for the fallen firefighters, police officers and emt's.
Well after working here at a police dept, one of the officers brought it to my attention when he saw my bike at work, that every yr they now do the 9/11 tour. Riding from the crash site in Pa, down to DC, and then up to NY in 3-4 days. To give you an idea you are talking about thousands of riders, and being fully escorted by state and local police all the way though. Firetrucks block rds and overpasses just to hang the american flag from their aerial ladder truck at 100 ft up and cheer and salute you as you ride by. And if thats what it takes to make people feel good and people smile, then I think its worth doing. As it gets closer I still have a hard time getting local riders and friend to ride with me so I am turning to you fellow riders.

The site has all the information you need, but in short for 3-4 days of riding with fire, ems and police though mutiple states, 75 dollar entry fee, all the hotels and reservations are on the site at a discounted rate. I figured that people in the area wouldnt mind riding a few days for americas fallen heroes.
