I have modded my 2001 R6 for track only use.
The only thing I am unable to find is some sort of bolt kit that I can use to mount the front fairing to the fairing stay where the mirrors mounted to the stay.

Typically I just use Zip Ties, but I have seen metal bolt on kits at tracks.
I still have the stock fairing stay and was just thinking about making something out of aircraft aluminum. However, if something already exists on the market, I'm not going to bother.

Check out ebay for mirror block off plates. If you really want something to cover the holes.
I just use safety wire. It's cheap. And I always have it.

I found some, but for $60 I can just make my own.
What to call them really helped as well. I had no clue what to search for.
