Hey guys, i'm buying a blue R6 soon :D

And i'm unsure about the gear i'm thinking of buying.

Basically it's the black, blue and white 2 piece leather Yamaha suit

Alpinestars blue and black boots

Alpinestars black, blue and white gloves

Shoei Black, blue and white helmet.

Will this make me look somewhat like a power ranger? And to be laughed at?

Is there anything you guys could offer that go nice with a blue R6, thnx for reading.

It depends on who you are riding with. If you are with some squids that don't wear a lot of gear then maybe yes. But anybody who wants to live to see tomorrow won't say a word that you are being safe and wearing good equipment.

dont worry about it. safety first. what you got there is my fav gear. i have a 2 pc suit leathers they dont even matched(blue jacket, black pants) :)) and blue glove and boots. be sure you get the right fit of your gear, especially in leathers.

Personally, I like that style, if anything people will be like "Dayam that dudes got some green to spend and he looks bad-ass!!!" Judging by all the other riders reactions, this sounds like a good plan bro! Nevermind the safety you'll get outta the deal. Right on man!

P.S. the power ranger comment friggin' awsome

If ONLY a PR could be so cool! LOL (I've yet to see one sporing such a nice bike!)

No worries, safety first man. Sounds like a nice set of safety gear by the way...safe and happy riding.

Ask ANYONE who has every been in an accident and see if they say they would have rather been wearing more/better gear. I'm sure you'll have your answer rather quickly.

More and more I'm finding myself wearing all my gear when I ride around town. I have an AlpineStar 2-Piece suit, SIDI boots, gloves and full-face helmet. I never go without my helmet and jacket and love the boots. There are also companies who make "riding" jeans with protection built into them if you don't want to go with the full "X-Men" look.

Just google Motorcycle Injuries if you want to see what happens without gear.

I'd never ride without the correct gear.

Ive heard some nasty stories about guys wearing trainers, crashing, then grinding there toes off, not good.

Also, i got a Blue & Black 2001 R6, i wear a Black & Silver Dainese T-Age 2 Piece, Black Sidi Vertigo's, Black GP Plus Gloves & a John Reynolds Arai Astro-R.

I love the power ranger look if its going to keep me safe.
