I have just purchased my first bike and I need some help. The bike is a 04 R6 it has been lowered by the previous owner. He has given me the original triangles parts to put the bike back to stock ride height. I have found where these supposable fit, is it as simple as taking the weight of the rear and undoing the smaller triangle and replacing with the stock? I have noticed that he had the side stand cut and re welded so a new on of these is required (I take it eBay is as good as any to get one of those?).

Yup. That's about it. Replace the Triangles and try to find a used sidestand off eBay or online through a cycle recycler... junkyard.
