why would you want a bike exhaust on a car?
if its for the sound it'll never work.but with enough
modifications you can make it fit.

I HAVE A FEW BIKE EXHAUSTS AND I WONDERED IF IT WOULD BE OK TO FIT IT TO MY CAR. DO U THINK IT WILL BE BETTER PERFORMANCE WISE THAN A STANDARD CAR EXHAUST.

It would be similar to swapping pipes on a bike. You'd end up with a freer flowing exhaust. But it'd be stupid.
First you have the mounting dilema. A car exhaust is welded on, a bike exhaust is slip fit. Second a car exhaust is more durable because it lives it's life underneath your car, while you bike pipe is meant to be washed. Third what are you going to attach the hanger to.
Then you have the issue of packing the can. Say you're putting this thing on a prelude with a 2.0l motor, and the can came from an r6 with a .6l motor. So you now have over 3 times the amount of exhaust flowing through the can. Which means you're going to burn the insides of the can 3 times faster. Now Micron recommends a repack every 5k miles or so. So if you used a Micron pipe on your car, then the repack recommendations would come down to 1.5k miles. That's ludacris.
Long story short, it can be done... but why?.

I used to have a Titanium Akrapovic slip-on, wrecked it and now I have a GYT-R slip on but the truth of the matter is NOTHING sounds like an Akrapovic. Don't get me wrong, the GYT-R is pretty throaty but it doesn't have that high pitched scream to it like the Akra. I'm looking to get either an ARATA full titanium high-mount or a Devil "shotgun" exhaust. Both are highmounts but the Arata is more performance-oriented and the Devil just looks sick twin stacked carbon fiber mufflers.
Check em' out

This is in reply to the guy that wants to put bike exhausts on a Prelude:
What are you thinking? Go buy a nice exhaust from DC Sports or something and don't waste your time trying to build a hooptie ride.
Bike exhausts are for bikes!

I was just trying to point out how RIDICULOUS a bike exhaust would be on a car.
