Just bought a 00' R6. Can anyone tell me what is the average price of an oil change is?

Okay you're looking at like 8 bucks for a filter. Plus you have 4 qts of oil which could cost anywhere from $5-$10 each depending on whether run buy single qts or a case.
So you should estimate $35-$50 and you'll be safe.

i am also a newbie to r6's and i have a 2000 r6 too. I was wondering what kind of oil you guys would recommend. I've noticed a lot of people sticking with yamalube 20-40. Anything else you might recommend? synthetic? rotella? Thank you.

If you do your own oil change, just what fierohink said, about 50 bucks, to pay someone anywhere from 100 - 175 depending how fast they do it and etc...all labor charge...as far as oil goes yamalube works really well, i hear a lot of good things about royal purple too

has anyone used rotella with their bike. curious to see how that works.
