Hi i just bought an 07 r6 and when the bike is stopped the front brakes are tight like they should be and work nicely. However when I roll a few feet or ride down my driveway I lose all pressure and i can pull the handle to the grip and not stop at all. But if i pump it two or three times i get full pressure again till i stop. If anyone can tell me whats going on it would be greatly appreciated because I'm supposed to get this on the road in a few days!

Pull the wheel and see if you have a loose or bent front rotor. If this is the case as it spins in the caliper it slowly pushes the pads back. Then when you apply the brakes the small amount of fluid that gets pushed from the lever, through the lines, and down to the caliper isn't enough to push the pads into the rotor. You get the same effect after getting headshake while riding.

You can test this with a dial indicator clamped to the caliper and measuring the run-out of the rotor face if you take it to a shop.

could also be a bubble in the line which is why it will work when pumped.. Could try bleading the brakes.

left and right piston? what kind of bike is this? are you talking about opposing pistons?
I would imagine under no load 1 piston will always move more than the other just because they wont both have the exact same amount of friction but if both can move freely when you stop the other then it sounds like there is no problem.
have the brakes stopped working well?
