I am soo to get a new rear tire for my 2006 R6 ... Anyone have any preferred tires? My last tire was the Battle X and i was not too impressed with it ...

Ive heard Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT Tires were one of the best for the streets. I have Dunlop Qualifiers which are also good and very sticky.

I just installed stock size Bridgestone Battlax BT016's on my 04'. "Fan effing tastic!" is a good way to describe them.

check out some reviews, you can't go wrong. They have the harder compund in the center for longer life on the roads, softer shoulder compound for moderate leaning, and then a super soft edge compound for the twisties.

for tyre selection you need to decide what kind of riding do you usually do. i have an 02 r6, am mainly into sport touring, i have metzeler interact z6 back and metzeler z6 front..amazing tyres, nice grip, very stable on road, much better than stock dunlop
even under wet conditions they are extremely good,
if your riding is mainly race, then i would say go for metzeler sportech
