I bought a brnad new 08 R6 and have about 800 miles on it now. i broke it in properly and then changed the oil as you are supposed to and i am getting a bad vibration in the seat and foot pegs between 10K and 10.5K in every gear. i took it to the dealer and the service manager thought it felt wrong but he serviced another brand new bike and it did the exact same thing. does anyone else have an 08 that has this vibration or is it a fluke that they had 2 with the same issue? please let me know your thoughts. thanks.

I've got an 08 with around 7k miles on it, and i started noticing that vibration too around 6.5k rpm's in all gears. Mine feels like internal engine vibration, not like a problem with the steering or anything...is yours the same?

yes that sounds like the same thing. i can feel mine in the seat and foot pegs the worst.

i bought a new 08 r6 also and im having vibrations in the seat at the same rpm's and i only have 700 miles on it, im taking it to the dealer this saturday. did you ever find out what the problem was?

I have a 08 r6 i have 10,000 on it. and i brought it in at 5,000 miles and the dealer said that it does with all of them

My ninja 250 I had did the same thing when it was under 1k miles. Its part of it being a new engine and when you take it on up in the RPMs its gonna give you some vibration. Granted my new R6s doesn't vibrate really

I have an 09 R6. I noticed that at 10K RPM I get a vibration too. It tingles my 'nads if they're near the tank or on the seat. I also believe that at near 12K, the vibrations subside.
