this bike it not making me happy, 01 r6...

i has ran fine before with the exeption of not pulling from 14k to 15.5k rpm
a couple weeks ago it was running fine, then it started studdering every once in a while, and now it has made its way to never reving out. im thinking its either a fuel pump or coils, i have ohm checked the coils and they are under spec, but there all the same, so does that mean there all bad? i think it was 1.4 ohms.

reason for thinking the fuel pump is it seems to be running very lean and thats the only thing i can think of that would stop it from getting fuel... and its not making noise, im going to try to do a pressure check on that,

wondering if anyone has any ideas, im getting tired of no powerband!

i should also mention it has a miss when it idles,

and i should also say its not a studder when i hit 10k, it actually looses power consistantly and sorta smooth, i have more from 5k rpm to 9k then i do when i hit 10... everything is acting like a coilpack, had the same problems on my Volkswagen.

guess i answered my own question but i have a hard time believing that all 4 coils are bad, since they are all ohm'n out the same

Which pins did you test across? I don't it's all four as well... this would actually lead to a less consistant miss.

Pull the coils and shake them to see if any of them rattle. If they do, replace that one first and run the bike again.

i tested the primary and secondary, i didnt see anywhere that they were split or arching, but i will pull them and shake them to see if there is anything rattling
