I bought a 2005 R6 in 2007. Then I was overseas for the last two years! It only has 2500 miles on it but I plan on changing that this year...

welcome to the forum. hopefully you resolve you issue with the bike. i think if you just do a simple maintenance work on it, it should solve the problem...
