My front brakes were not stop my bike like they should. I check them out and noticed my front rotors have grease/oil on them. I clean them off and my brakes worked fine. However, I did notice grease/oil on them again. Where should I look to find the problem? Could it be brake fluid leaking?

Help!

Either you have a bad fork seal and oil is leaking out of your fork down the leg and onto the rotor, or you have a bad caliper seal and brake fluid is pushing out of the caliper behind the brake pad and onto the rotor.

Either way your pads are now junk. Once they are contaminated by hydraulic fluid they will always be compromised.

Take this opportunity to switch to better pads like EBC HH+. Once you have the oil leak stop you will be glad you upgraded the pads.

Yea, definitely take care of the oil problem before you get new brake pads. Because once oil gets on the pads it soaks in and they are no good.

yeah if you don't see oil anywhere else probably coming from the caliper, check your fluid levels.
