I'm a newbie to riding with only a couple of thousand miles under my belt. My first bike was an 04 250cc Ninja. That was totalled in an accident. Basically, the other party's insurance paid for my Ninja as they were at fault. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, I opted to upgrade to an 04 R6. I liked it better than the ZX-6R or the Gixxer.

I am glad I got the Yammy. I'm not in riding for stunts or racing..... just enjoy the overall feeling. Make me feel like ..... well like a superhero... then that's just me.

I hope your ok from your accident. I am glad to see it did not deter you from riding. I know people who have gotten in minor accidents and then call it quits. I know people who dream about getting a motorcycle, but never do. That's a whole number topic...

Cool dude!, That's the feel I had over the bikes between a Gixxer, ZX-6R as well. The Yamaha sounds and feels so much better. I just can't wait till I get the '05's R6 Raven. 8) Although it was interesting that the Gixxer got the Kudos on Sport Rider for the 600cc's. Cheerio!
