Does anybody see this as being a big prblem problem. Other than the hole in the frame it is just fairing damage

It looks as if the reason the bike received a salvage title is because the right mid fairing bolt got punched through the frame. (There is literally a small bolt sized hole in the frame there instead of bolt threads.)

if it s a small small hole i dont see anything wrong with it, but really should get it looked at, i cant see the frame failing unless its near a weld or bend....if not i wouldnt be tooo worried about it

If it's just the threads that is a common problem. I've had to helicoil both bosses left and right. When you go to line the fairing up if you're not paying attention you'll cross thread the aluminum and then the threads are f'd. Happens everyday. I find it very unlikely that a $2 fix caused the bike to get salvaged. Depending on where you are i.e. what part of the country, you might want to spend $100 and get the bike GMD Computracked. They set up all these probes and then measure the frame with lasers. My guess is there's more wrong then just the threads.

 The hole in the frame should be small enough that the diameter of the hole does not exceed the distance from the edge of the frame to the edge of the hole (on each side of the frame), or it would be structurally compromised. You could get it filled (welded), redrilled and tapped with new threads for little $.
