I have an 02 R6, gettin the oil changed today and just wanna know how often it needs to be changed, after how many miles or how many months, thnks.

Dude, an engine oil should be changed in a month or every 1500 kms whichever is earlier. It is totally depend upon the use of you bike. If you want your bike in high speed then your bike need service after 1500 kms.

Usually I change the oil for every 6000kms for my CBZ xtreme.
