Ok well my blinkers are tripping out when I turn the left blinker on then I switch to the right blinker they both stop working!!! I dont know were to begin to trouble shoot and find out whats wrong...It's my first bike so I dont know much about it... Please if you know what to do let me know so I can fix it... thnx

Your signals should be a two stage switch. You can't go from left straight to right and vice versa. First it will turn the one signal off, you can also push in on the button, then you have to flick again to go to right.

This is so you don't have to think about finding the middle off position as you are riding.

I'm having the same problem! just bought an 04 R6 and its my first bike. my right signal works but my left one doesn't no matter what i do. and if i turn my right signal on then push the button to turn it off then it will turn back on just fine, but if i turn right signal on then just flick it back over to the middle then i cant get the right signal to work again. Then if i do the right turn signal then button and repeat the process then the right turn signal will work again after doing that about 8 times. But no matter what i do the left doesn't work at all... any info will be greatly appreciated! thanks guys

*update* found the problem in mine... whoever installed the LED taillight messed up on the wiring for the left blinker, the two wires were touching and i guess causing a short. so i just hard wired the blue with the brown one and i'm guessing the black was just the ground so i just left that one disconnected. now all my blinkers work just fine
