I have just purchased a integrated tail light conversion for my 2001 R6 and have run into a problem. It was advertisd as plug and go but i dont think it is. Anyway my problem is this.... The tail light came with a plug and then a separate yellow wire and blue wire. The plug hooks right up to the taillight plug on my bike, the runing lights and brake lights work fine...Now i cant figure out where the yellow and blue wires hook to. The other plug on the bike is what my old turn signals where hooked to but here is the problem. That plug has a blue wire, green wire, brown wire, and two black wires. So basically im trying to hook two wires up to five. Please help, i need to get this bike inspected this week.

I have gone through my signaling wiring diagrams in detail and cannot find this five wire connector with the color configuration you describe.
Normally the integrated tailight comes with a plug and play connector for the brakes and tailights. It usually has additional wiring which you must connect to your existing signal light wiring - no connector provided.
Can you take a picture of the related wiring you are describing in the tail and post it for me.

I had a problem with intergrated lights. The lights would work fine on their own but when the Tail light or brake light was on, the indicators would not work correctly. They would stay on and the red light would flash.
Found the problem to be with the light on the clocks. Both wires to the light are positive from the switch, but one is connected to the +ve side of the bulb and other to the -ve side of the bulb. When the indicator is activated a voltage is sent to the correct indicator, but due to the other side being in the circuit it would also receive a small voltage, thus messing up the lights.
Simply remove the bulb from the clocks and the light will work fine.
5 wires - One from the tail light switch circuit.
One from the brake light circuit.
One from the earth (ground) circuit.
One for the left indicator
One for the right indicator.
Hope this is of use.
