hey there, im brand new. i have had my r6s for about 4 weeks. i live in an apartment in somewhat of a sketchy town. while bringin it inside, i regretfully lost balance between my bike and door frame. it leaned against my couch and slowly made its way to the carpet. the diognostic code was 30......it did start up after i let it sit for a while. should i be worried about oil? thanks

hey thanks for bein the only one to reply......no, no oil leaked out, but that number 30 is a code sayin im an idiot,rite.its been runnin just fine. im guessin its just like an idiot light, right? i was curious tho, since i see your post on here a lot.....(hope you have some insight). when i ride, i hear a constant tick that follows the rpm's. i got it brand new and just hit a 1000 miles with recommended break-in. is this normal on all bikes or could this be a valve problem?

It's hard to say without hearing it first hand. It could be a valve tick, it could be loud injectors, it could be totally normal, or it might be a problem. Is it mostly on the left or right side? Does it matter if you are moving? Does it change if you pull the clutch lever in?
There are so many possiblities really.

yeah i took my bike in for the first service and they didnt say anything, but i still here it. i cant locate from where. i noticed that with the clutch in, i dont hear the noise and i cant hear any difference between rpm ranges. i was thinkin a lifter.....but this is my first bike and i got it brand new. paranoid?
