Yesterday while I was working we got a call for motorcycle wreck on the highway....got there guy layed down the bike with his g/f on the back....he had a helmet and coat and he was just banged up a little went to the hosp for an evaluation....the girl no helmet and just a long sleve shirt....ended up with a really good scalp laceration after hitting her head on the guard rail....she isnt in such good shape ..... all was caused cause some jerk was all over the rd towing a boat trailer, and the guy didnt even signal and pulled right into the lane

Bummer i hate hearing these storys but it come with the lifestyle of ridding.

I'm sorry to hear that bro! I'll pray that she will do fine. Car/truck drivers need to retake exams and strictly get hounded on any little mistakes. You know, I always thought it's the law to wear a lid for both rider and passenger. And I agree with hcvsi, why oh why would a guy do that to his girl and not give her the proper gear.

I remember a story about Q-tips and Soccer moms posted a while back and this just reminds me of it so much!! Some people just don;t understand that they should not be on the road! Today I was helping a friend work on his stunt bike (a ZX9R). Right down the street was a stop light it was green for me...so I went. Well I guess when there was a green light for me it ment that the woman in the opposite turning lane could turn. So she did! Almost into me!!!! If it wasn't for the EBC HH's on the front I don;t think I could have stopped...the funny thing is it WAS a soccer mom and she thought it best to give me the one finger salute!

ive had my bike for about 3 weeks now I am glad i havent dumped it yet... But If I were to ride in a no helmet law state i would give my helmet to the girl for sure...
