I dont but I'm sure many folks do. Turns out they can be opened with a 25 cent Bic pen:

Yeah, Never trust those things. They are sold as "unbreakable." But a few of my friends have had their bikes stolen with that kryptonite crap. (i mean like BMX bikes.) That would suck if it happened to their motorcycles or mine when i get it. What kind of locking system do you suggest?

if you go on the Kryptonite website and register as an "owner of the lock" they will send you a new one. They know they have problems and they are replacing them by mid-October :shock:

i dont give a **** about the lock. Will they give me a new bike? I don't think so.

Masterlock makes hardened locks for every application that you need...that cant be broken into by a bic pen and usally can be broken with bolt cutters...the lock is just about unpickable and well worth the money....the only way into one of those locks is cutting it with a high speed disc for cutting....or if you have hydrolic tools to cut cars apart with im sure that would work :wink:

Doesn't matter. I still wouldnt trust leaving my bike in the street with a lock. Especially since i live in New York City.
