I'm new to the forum, i dont even have a bike yet - my parents wont pay for college if i get one before graduation, so i have well over a year to plan for it. I was just wondering if anyone out there has any idea as to how to make flames come out of the exhaust (on a seperate switch - just for show). I would not want it flaming all the time, but i have seen one on the road like this and would love to do it when i get one. Also any advice on the "if i had to do it all over, i would...." topic would be appreciated also.

it's only illegal to use the flames right? - you can still have them for shows and stuff can't you?

Ahh the downside to FI. with the ol' '02 I just cut the spark for a sec and fire it back up. The pipe fills with fuel rich exhaust that lights up after it leaves the engine. Shooting a sweet flamethrower out the back.

don't you do that by riding down the road hitting the kill switch. and firing it back up is that what you are talking about??? Fiero

Hmm...maybe we should make a "squids" section for questions like this.

Squid is like someone who's new to bikes. Like unexperienced.

thats low... I'm just a kid at heart thats all...

And yes it is when you coast hit the kill real quick and then flip it back on while the bikes still in gear.
I picked up the idea from the track when everybody with shifters would do it next to me going thru the brakers.

squid.... I resemble that remark....or is it resent...hmmm
