hey guys i was wondering is the high velocity back protector is really good. cuz it says on the site that it is all approved and exceeds level two i was wondering, hopefully no one has any experience but if you like hit a pole or a tree with those body armours do they really protect your spine? because i value my legs as much as i value my head so i was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on that.

Back protectors don't prevent injuries when you hit something. They prevent damage from abrasion and from hyper-extending your spine. Otherwise known as bending backwards and having your heels touch the back of your head.

I don't have particular experience in the product you are looking at, I run with either a Bohn or a Dianese depending on the suit. As long as it is articulated and prevents counter-directional movement you should be getting the best technology we have to chose from.
