I am interested in learning it, I'm in north NJ. Do you (or anyone) know of any schools or beginner courses around this area? I would love to learn how to really ride this bike, I mean to its limits.

OKay you want to hook up with Team Promotion (http://www.teampromotion.com). They are based in Philly. They ride at Pocono's, BeaveRun (in Pittsburgh), Summit Pointe (outside of DC), and a couple of other tracks. They run a very good school the ART program (advanced rider training). One of their teachers is a current AMA racer, Defan something or other. But talk to Linda... she'll set you up.

Thanks, I will look into that! I asked someone I work with who rides about a race school or course around here. She said that they just finished one in Englishtown, NJ at Raceway Park, know anything about that?

Not cool man, not cool at all. Just because you have heard about a 20 mile stretch of turnpike that smells a little bit in the summer doesn't mean the whole state is like that. Go 15 minutes west of the turnpike and you will find areas that rival the most hoighty toighty Connecticut towns.
