well i was run over a few moths ago and i was only riding with a good jacket. my pants were thrashed and so were my legs, but i am ok. my question is i want protection but i don't want to look like i'm a moto gp rider with all leathers. dose any one recommend any good pair of gens type pants or what ever that will protect you but is some what casual?? i know icon makes a few pairs of pants do you all know of any other brands and if any are any better than the others. thanks.

Draggin Jeans are pretty good, they are reinforced with kevlar. They will hold up better than standard denim.
A nice textile suit (2 piece of to suit your desires) like an Aerostitch Road Crafter would work. They slip on over top of your street clothes. I've crashed a few times in mine and it holds up very well.
Unfortunately nothing is going to treat as well as a nice pair of leather pants.

Nothing will protect you from being run over!!
But if it's a casual look you are after then I think Icon has the biggest selection. Give it a few more months and you'll be out hunting for some leathers.

I've seen Hood Jeans from the UK, look protective and comfortable. Anyone want to try an do a group buy?
